DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR MAPPING COURSES AND LECTURER COMPETENCIES

The objective of this research is to develop an information system for mapping courses and lecturer competencies in the Department of Information Technology, to be used as a working guideline and to integrate these values into the work culture of Politeknik Negeri Jember. Specifically, the development of course mapping with lecturer competencies aims to enhance lecturer performance in conducting education or teaching according to their competencies. A workshop method was employed to introduce the research findings to lecturers, particularly those in the Department of Information Technology, as partners. The results of developing the Course and Lecturer Competency Mapping Information System have impacted the effectiveness of time and the efficiency of funds. The information system is highly effective as it can be accessed quickly and flexibly from anywhere using electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
