Abstract

Learning improvements were carried out at SDN 024 Sorek Satu, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency with a focus on improvement in Indonesian subjects. Improving learning using the discovery learning model, where learning students are required to be active in finding their own concepts or principles. This learning has various advantages and makes students more independent. The purpose of this Learning Improvement is to improve student learning outcomes. Implementation of improvements carried out in 2 cycles in each cycle there are 2 meetings. But the focus of this improvement is cycle 1 of the second meeting and cycle 2 of the last meeting. In cycle 1 there were 9 students who experienced complete learning outcomes. Cycle 2 as many as 19 students experienced completeness in learning outcomes. From these results, it can be concluded that the use of discovery learning models succeeded in increasing student learning outcomes.
