Analisis Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa dalam Memecahkan Masalah pada Materi Statistika

This study aims to analyze students' critical thinking skills in solving problems in statistics material. The method used in this study is a descriptive research method using a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the research analysis that has been described above through the results of tests and interviews that have been conducted by researchers on research subjects, namely grade 8 students of SMP Negeri 2 Pujon, totaling 22 students, and interview subjects, namely 3 students taken from each low, medium and high category. Has the conclusion that many students have low critical thinking skills. Where this can be seen in the results of the written test which shows that the greatest frequency is in the lowest category with a percentage of 50.00%, because a total of 20 students there are 11 students who fall into the low category. The rest of the high category gets a percentage of 18.18% and the medium category gets 31.81%. This is also in line with the results of interviews which show students fall into the low category. From these results indicate that students' critical thinking skills in solving problems are low.
