Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore efforts to attract interest in learning Arabic in Islamic elementary schools through the application of innovative and fun approaches. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The research involved Islamic elementary school students who had implemented an innovative approach in learning Arabic. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and document study. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to identify patterns and main findings from the research. The results of the study show that an innovative and fun approach to learning Arabic at madrasah ibtidaiyah can increase students' interest in learning. The use of modern technology, interactive applications, multimedia, Arabic games, and contextualization approaches are important factors in attracting interest in learning. In addition, an inclusive and participatory learning environment also contributes positively to students' enthusiasm in learning Arabic. This article provides an overview of effective learning strategies and can be used as a guide for educators and educational institutions to increase interest in learning Arabic at madrasah ibtidaiyah.
